Department store group El Corte Inglés has extended its partnership with LaLiga, which operates the top two divisions of Spanish football.
The new three-year deal will see El Corte Inglés sponsor the top-tier LaLiga and the Segunda División. The company will have a presence at all matches played across the two leagues.
As part of the deal, El Corte Inglés will receive the right to exclusively sell official LaLiga products at its stores. The company’s Viajes El Corte Inglés division will also serve as the official travel agency of LaLiga for the same three-season period.
The two parties will also work together on a platform through which fans can buy tickets for LaLiga, Segunda División and national team matches.
In addition, LaLiga-focused virtual reality experiences will be launched at department stores across Spain, while El Corte Inglés will also support LaLiga Genuine, a competition for players with intellectual disabilities.
