Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) has agreed a partnership with LaLiga, the organising body of the top two divisions of Spanish club football, covering sponsorship and broadcast rights.
Under the deal, which runs until the end of the 2020-21 season, LaLiga becomes a top-tier Global Partner of BSWW, which acts as the organising body of professional beach soccer.
As the sole Global Partner, BSWW said LaLiga will receive “maximum visibility” across its competitions staged throughout the world.
As a part of the agreement, LaLiga will also hold broadcast rights in Spain to BSWW competitions, which will be covered by its OTT platform, LaLigaSportsTV.
LaLiga will grant a specific focus on Spanish clubs and players, as well as the national team.

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, said: “Beach soccer offers a great opportunity for us to continue supporting the sport and offer them a way for their audiovisual content to reach as many fans as possible.
“Not only is it a sport that is part of the great football family, but it is also a young and fresh game, through which we can reach new audiences.”
LaLiga will be immediately visible at the Mundialito de Clubes (the international club beach soccer competition contested between the top men’s clubs from across the world), which starts on Wednesday at the Megasport Sport Palace in Moscow and runs through to March 3.
Spain’s national beach soccer champion, Levante UD, will compete in the event.
