West Ham joins Premier League’s social trading set

Global social trading network eToro has entered into a partnership with English Premier League football club West Ham United.

The deal will run for three years, from the 2015-16 season through to the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Under the agreement, eToro will become the club’s first-ever social trading partner.

The company recently secured funding from a number of major banks and has also developed a new trading platform that will be released in the coming months.

Felicity Croft, commercial director at West Ham United, said: “Many of the biggest clubs in England have agreed partnerships with social trading companies in recent months, and for West Ham to attract such a large and globally-successful player in this sector is a sign of our growing global reach and ambition.”
