German brewery Krombacher has secured an early four-year extension to its commercial partnership with Bundesliga football team VfB Stuttgart.
Krombacher initially partnered with Stuttgart for the 2011-12 season and its most recent terms ran until June 30, 2016. This has been extended until June 30, 2020.
Under the agreement, Krombacher will benefit from a variety of advertising opportunities such as a television-related presence, hospitality services, placement in club publications, autograph sessions with first-team players and serving rights at Stuttgart’s Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Krombacher is listed among the second tier of Stuttgart’s commercial partners alongside kit manufacturer Puma, Mercedes-Benz, Wurth, and Fanuc. Mercedes-Benz Bank is the team’s major partner.
