Japanese condiments and food ingredients producer Kikkoman has signed up as the latest partner of the Tokyo 2020 summer Olympic Games.
Kikkoman has been attributed a category that is exclusive to ‘sauces (including soy sauces), vinegar, mirin and cooking sake’.
The agreement brings the total number of Tokyo 2020 domestic partners to 33, including 18 official partners.
“Over many years, Kikkoman Corporation has supported the development of Japan’s food culture and is now the leading brand in the soy sauce market,” Tokyo 2020 president Yoshiro Mori said.
