Chinese Super League football club Jiangsu Suning has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with electronics and telecommunications products manufacturer Konka.
The agreement covers the 2017 CSL season, which gets underway next month. Konka’s branding will feature on the front of Suning’s shirts as part of the deal.
Suning’s squad includes Brazilian international Ramires, who joined the club from English Premier League team Chelsea ahead of the 2016 campaign. Shortly after Ramires’ arrival, Suning broke the Chinese transfer record to sign fellow Brazilian Alex Teixeira from Ukrainian Premier League side Shakhtar Donetsk for a fee reported to be in the region of £40m (€47m/$50m).
Suning finished the 2016 CSL season in second place, behind Guangzhou Evergrande.
