NFL American football team the Jacksonville Jaguars has agreed a five-year sponsorship deal with Florida-based supermarket chain Publix.
Under the deal, Publix becomes the official supermarket of the Jaguars and joins the franchise’s “Jamboree” tier – the collection of its premier commercial partners.
A tailgating platform, where Jaguars fans will have the opportunity to participate in tailgating experiences at games and through in-store promotions at Publix, forms the basis of the partnership.
The chain will also benefit from the presenting sponsorship of the Jaguars pre-game radio show, advertising space inside and outside the team’s EverBank Field home and player and cheerleader appearances at various Publix locations.
Earlier this month the Jaguars ended its tie-up with another high-profile grocery store, the locally-based Winn-Dixie.
