Car rental brand Hertz has renewed its title sponsorship of the MotoGP British grand prix motorcycling race at Silverstone.
The deal will run for the duration of the 2013 event, which will take place from August 30 to September 1, with the option of extending the agreement to include the 2014 event.
Hertz, which also sponsored last year’s race, struck the deal with Dorna Sports, MotoGP’s commercial rights-holder.
Hertz will receive branding exposure at the trackside, bridge, starting point and winners’ podium backdrops at Silverstone.
The company has been the official car and equipment rental supplier to MotoGP since 2010.
