German Handball Bundesliga club THW Kiel has renewed its partnership with insurance company Provinzial.
The new three-year deal will run until June 30, 2021.
Provinzial, which has been associated with the club since 1979, previously served as Kiel’s main sponsor and had its branding appear on the front and back of the team’s shirts. Under the new deal, its logo will just appear on the back of Kiel’s kit.
Provinzial will also benefit from branding rights to Kiel mascot Hein Daddel, as well as TV-visible advertising exposure during the club’s Bundesliga home games. Two annual friendly matches will also be organised by the two parties.
