German Handball Bundesliga team SC Leipzig has renewed its main sponsor deal with energy, mobility and water company Leipziger Gruppe.
The new three-year deal will run until 2021. Leipziger Gruppe first partnered with the team during the 2009-10 season and it will continue to serve as a major sponsor of the club with branding rights to the front of its jerseys.
As part of the deal, Leipziger Gruppe customers will receive discounted match tickets. The company also served as the presenting partner of yesterday’s (Sunday’s) match against HSG Wetzlar.
Leipziger Gruppe will also work with SC Leipzig on a crowdfunding campaign for the club’s academy.
