Liqui Moly replaces DKB as title sponsor of Handball Bundesliga

Lubricants manufacturer Liqui Moly has been unveiled as the new title sponsor of Germany’s Handball Bundesliga.

The three-season deal will cover the 2019-20 to 2021-22 campaigns. Liqui Moly will replace German banking group Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB) as the league’s title sponsor.

As part of the agreement, a new Liqui Moly-branded logo will feature on the sleeves of all Bundesliga players. The company will also benefit from TV-visible brand exposure during games.

Additionally, Liqui Moly will have a presence in all Bundesliga print materials, on the league’s website, on other digital channels and across social media platforms. Various other advertising benefits and hospitality packages will form part of the agreement.

DKB had title sponsored the Handball Bundesliga since the 2012-13 season and will continue to serve as a major partner of the league.

Earlier this month, Liqui Moly signed on as an Official Partner of the 2020 European Athletics Championships in Paris.
