Giants running back to promote Dunkin’ rebrand

The Dunkin’ quick service restaurants brand, the Official Coffee of the New York Giants, has signed a one-year promotional partnership with the NFL club’s running back Saquon Barkley.

The partnership coincides with a revamp of the famous Dunkin’ Donuts brand, starting in January 2019.

Form next year, a new logo that refers to the company name as “Dunkin’” will appear on packaging, in advertising, online and on new and remodeled restaurants.

As part of the campaign, Barkley will feature in a series of advertisements and promotions throughout the New York metro area during the current NFL season.

It will kick off with a series of video spots supporting Dunkin’s new espresso experience. Barkley will also promote the brand’s baked goods and limited-time offer breakfast sandwiches.

Commenting on the deal, Cathy Chavenet, integrated marketing director at Dunkin’, said: “Our brand has had a long and successful relationship with the New York Giants, and we think Saquon represents perfectly the speed, energy and optimism our guests throughout the metro area associate with Dunkin’.”

There are more than 1,800 Dunkin’ quick service restaurants in the New York Metro area.
