Giant Food, P&G extend association with Wizards NBA 2K League team

Regional grocery chain Giant Food and consumer goods corporation Procter & Gamble have returned as sponsors of the Washington Wizards’ esports team in the NBA 2K League.

The deal for the 2019 NBA 2K League season has been signed with the Wizards’ ownership group, Monumental Sports & Entertainment.

As the official grocery sponsor, Giant will be featured through in-game virtual assets, on-court signage during games and at the Wizards District Gaming practice facility. P&G will be the exclusive vendor partner and several brands including Old Spice, Gillette, Tide and Bounty will be showcased during this season’s games.

The 2019 NBA 2K League season began on April 2.
