BMO to sponsor Montreal Impact eMLS Cup team

Ahead of the first eMLS Cup event of 2019 – the eMLS League Series One in Southern California tomorrow (Tuesday) – the Montreal Impact announced that jersey sponsor BMO (Bank of Montreal) will also partner its esports team.

“We are proud that our presenting partner has decided to also associate itself with our esports platform, which is in full growth,” said Impact partnership director Saverio Folino. “We aim to bring this platform to the next level, and the confidence BMO shows towards our esports initiative demonstrates we are on the right path.”

Fans at the event at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, which is being hosted by the LA Galaxy, will be able to engage with an LA Galaxy MLS Cup trophy, receive exclusive merchandise, create customised eMLS LA Galaxy apparel, and create personal Fifa Ultimate Team cards. Former LA Galaxy player Cobi Jones will also make an appearance.
