Gatorade prioritises brand building at Women’s Champions League final

PepsiCo’s positioning of its Gatorade sports drink brand at tomorrow’s Uefa Women’s Champions League final is aimed at brand building rather than sales, according to the sponsorship lead at the food and beverage group.

Gatorade is sharing in PepsiCo’s comprehensive five-year sponsorship of Uefa women’s competitions, from 2020-21 to 2024-25, with flagship carbonated drinks brand Pepsi and snack brand Lay’s, (also known as Walkers in the UK).
