French companies rally behind home Ryder Cup

A group of leading French companies have agreed to become official suppliers of the 2018 edition of golf’s Ryder Cup, which will take place at Le Golf National near Paris.

Hotel company Accor Hotel Group, outdoor advertising and digital signage firm JCDecaux, luxury good conglomerate Moët Hennessy, wine brand Mouton Cadet and food and drink producer Nestlé have all signed up to support the event.

Accor Hotel Group will provide official hotel accommodation for fans, players and VIPs at the Ryder Cup, as well as develop programmes to accommodate those working at the tournament.

JCDecaux will use its outdoor advertising sites in Paris and London, England, to promote the event and also provide various digital signage products to help fans navigate the course at Le Golf National.

Nestlé’s products will be served and sold at public catering outlets and private hospitality throughout the 2018 Ryder Cup, while the company has also agreed to support the Junior Ryder Cup.

Moët Hennessy will serve its Champagnes and spirits at all public- and privately-catered facilities during the tournament, as well as at the Team Welcome Dinner, Ryder Cup Gala Dinner, sponsor receptions and other official occasions.

In addition, Mouton Cadet will be the official wine of the Ryder Cup and launch a Special Cuvée ahead of next year’s event.

The 2018 Ryder Cup runs from September 25-30.
