FIH joins forces with Indian e-tech company for World Cup

BYJU’S, India’s largest e-technology company, has partnered with the International Hockey Federation (FIH) for the upcoming Hockey Men’s World Cup in the Indian city of Bhubaneswar.

BYJU’S creates learning programs for students across India and is the preferred school learning app for children in the country.

The Hockey Men’s World Cup takes place from November 28 to December 16. Australia is the defending champion, having won the 2014 tournament in The Hague, Netherlands.

FIH chief executive Thierry Weil said: “This will help us reach out to the youth, which plays such a key role to grow our sport. This partnership will help to make the upcoming Men’s World Cup an even bigger event.”
