Fantasy sports games company FanDuel has agreed a partnership with NBA team Cleveland Cavaliers to further increase its presence in the North American basketball league.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but FanDuel will benefit from in-arena signage during Cavaliers games at its Quicken Loans Arena and a presence on the team’s official website.
Cleveland Cavaliers and FanDuel will launch #FanDuelfortheWin Sweepstakes on social media, giving fans the chance to win a Cavaliers VIP experience for a forthcoming game, tickets and team merchandise. Further details of the initiative will be announced at a later date.
Last year, FanDuel signed a four-year exclusive daily fantasy deal with the NBA and Cleveland Cavaliers join Brooklyn Nets, LA Lakers and Orlando Magic in having individual agreements with the company, which also partners NFL American football team Washington Redskins.
