UK specialist bike shop Evans Cycles has become an official partner of this year’s RideLondon mass-participation cycling event.
Under the deal, Evans Cycles will serve as the official clothing and retail partner of the 2016 event, which will take place on July 30-31.
Evans Cycles will work with clothing brand Endura to design and produce the clothing for the event.
In addition, Evans Cycles will offer participants various training support projects during their preparations for RideLondon 2016, including in-store advice evenings and maintenance classes, training rides at the Evans Cycles ‘Ride It’ sportive series and on-the-ride mechanical support.
Open to cyclists of all ages and abilities, RideLondon has raised more than £20m (€27.3m/$29.3m) for good causes since its launch, with the 2015 edition of the event attracting over 95,000 riders. Those who take part compete in five events on traffic-free roads in London and nearby Surrey.
