Italian sportswear company Erreà has moved into the Formula One motor racing championship through a partnership with the Sauber team.
The agreement will initially run for the forthcoming 2017 season and Erreà will equip the Swiss-based team with specially designed teamwear as well as travel gear. The company will also distribute selected official team collection articles for merchandising purposes.
Besides brand visibility on the team and travel gear, the Erreà logo will also be present on the headrest of the Sauber C36-Ferrari car.
Angelo Gandolfi, president of Erreà Sport, said: “In Sauber F1 Team, we see a like-minded, ambitious team. We look forward to bringing our experience in the development of unique merchandise and original teamwear design from other sports such as football, volleyball, basketball and rugby to the team.”
Erreà’s first set of team merchandise will be released in the coming weeks.
