Mars-owned chocolate bar brand Snickers has agreed a deal to become an official sponsor of the ELeague esports competition.
Snickers will support the second season of the contest, which is centred on first-person shooter game ‘Counter Strike: Global Offensive’.
As part of the deal, Snickers will sponsor the ELeague’s pre-game show on pay-television broadcaster Turner Broadcasting System, as well as a ‘You’re Not You When You’re Hungry’ bloopers feature during game play.
In addition, Snickers will run adverts during commercial breaks in television coverage of the ELeague alongside ad tracker, featuring stats and information about players and teams.
The ELeague has also confirmed that Arby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Credit Karma and Domino’s, which served as sponsors of its inaugural edition, have all signed up to support the contest again this season.
