Swiss watchmaker Edox has been named as the official timekeeper of this year’s European Curling Championships, which will take place in St Gallen, Switzerland.
Edox agreed the deal with the World Curling Federation and its marketing partner, the Infront Sports & Media agency.
The event will run from November 17-25 and will serve as one of the final international curling tournaments before the 2018 winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, Korea.
Edox will benefit from extensive brand exposure at the Eissportzentrum Lerchenfeld venue, where the event will be held. The company will also be promoted across media and broadcast outlets covering the championships.
Edox first partnered with the WCF for the 2013 European Curling Championships in Stavanger, Norway. The company also released a limited-edition WCF timepiece last year.
