Daily fantasy sports company Draft Ops has secured a sponsorship agreement with NHL ice hockey team Anaheim Ducks.
The Forbes website said that under a four-year deal, running from the 2015 -16 season to the end of the 2018-19 campaign, Draft Ops will serve as the exclusive sponsor of the Ducks in the fantasy gaming category.
Draft Ops acquires the branding rights at an outdoor bar at the team’s Honda Center, where its staff will interact and engage with fans to promote its daily fantasy platform.
The company will also be promoted through dasher boards, game-night giveaways, social media activations, fan experiences and LED screen advertising.
Anaheim Ducks are the second NHL team to partner with Draft Ops after it sealed a three-year deal with New York Islanders earlier this year.
Draft Ops’ rival DraftKings is the official daily fantasy game of the NHL under a multi-year partnership with the league.
