Professional services firm Deloitte has renewed its partnership with the British Olympic Association until the 2016 summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Having first partnered with the BOA in 2008 to support its preparations for London 2012, Deloitte will continue to serve as the organisation’s professional services provider.
Deloitte will provide the BOA with staff to lead programme planning that will aim to ensure efficient preparations for Great Britain at the 2016 Olympics.
David Sproul, chief executive and senior partner at Deloitte, said: “We are proud to be once again working with the BOA up to 2016; it is a strong statement of our enduring support of Team GB. With our wealth of experience gained as the official professional services provider to London 2012, coupled with the breadth and scale of our offering as part of a global network, we will help the BOA negotiate the challenges of taking a team from a successful home Games to a completely different environment.”
Deloitte is also a partner of the British Paralympic Association under an agreement that also runs through to 2016.
