The Delhi Daredevils Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 cricket franchise has renewed a sponsorship deal with air-conditioning provider Daikin.
The extension will cover the 2016 edition of the IPL, which will take place from April 9 to May 29.
Daikin first teamed up with the franchise for the 2015 IPL.
Kanwaljeet Jawa, managing director of Daikin India, said: “Cricket is a religion in India and the IPL is one of the most watched leagues in the world. Our partnership with Delhi Daredevils, which is one of the most promising teams, is part of Daikin’s continued efforts to build a sporting culture amongst the youth.”
South Africa's JP Duminy (pictured) captained the Daredevils during the 2015 IPL and is set to return for the 2016 season.
