Hotel booking service HotelPlanner.com has agreed to become a team partner at the 2017-18 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, while the sailing event has also extended a supplier deal with navigational data company ChartCo.
HotelPlanner.com will now sponsor a team in the upcoming edition of the race, which is due to begin in the English city of Liverpool on August 20.
As part of the deal, HotelPlanner.com will promote its brand and services at key destinations across the six continents that will feature in the 11-month race.
Meanwhile, ChartCo will retain its role as the official nautical services partner of the Clipper Race for the 2017-18 edition.
The company will provide navigational equipment such as paper charts and technical publications for the entire fleet.
