Portable energy provider Cummins Onan has agreed to become the official technical supplier for the 2013-14 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
The manufacturer will provide marine generators to the 12-yacht fleet for the biennial sailing endurance event.
The 2013-14 edition will set off from London on September 1 on a 40,000-mile journey that will take in 15 ports across 11 continents over its 11-month duration.
