Chennai Open serves up sponsor deals

The Chennai Open ATP World Tour men’s tennis event has announced Swiss watch manufacturer Rado and the nutrient water and automotive arms of Indian conglomerate Tata as official sponsors.

Rado will serve as the 2015 tournament’s official timekeeper, gaining exclusive branding rights to the speed gun that measures the pace of players’ serves.

Like Rado, Tata Water Plus enters its third year of the association with the tournament, where it is the official hydration partner and will supply its products to players, support staff and officials.

Tata Motors is the official car partner of the Chennai Open for 2015 under a new deal and will use its association with the event’s 20th anniversary to promote its new Bolt range.

The Chennai Open, which is title sponsored by Indian mobile network operator Aircel, got under way yesterday (Monday), with world no.4 and reigning Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka (pictured) defending his title.
