Online trade vetting and monitoring platform Checkatrade has agreed a new partnership with the Rugby Football League to sponsor its Challenge Cup competition.
The partnership will see Checkatrade present at the upcoming triple header, where the Challenge Cup men’s semi-finals and women’s final will be played at the University of Bolton Stadium on July 27, as well as at the competition’s showpiece Wembley final on August 24.
In addition, Checkatrade will become the title partner of ‘Try of the Week’ – a weekly competition on the RFL’s ‘Our League’ app.
RFL chief commercial officer, Mark Foster, said: “There is a strong synergy between the members and consumers of Checkatrade and rugby league supporters, and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.”
In January, the RFL agreed a commercial partnership with Coral for the bookmaker to become title sponsor of both the men’s and women’s Challenge Cups in a two-year deal.
