Confectionary company Cadbury has entered into a commercial partnership with the Irish Rugby Football Union.
Under the deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, Cadbury’s Boost brand becomes the official chocolate bar of the IRFU and Ireland wing Tommy Bowe becomes an ambassador of the company, which is owned by snack food multinational Mondelez.
Additionally, Cadbury Boost will be the official sponsor of touch rugby events in Ireland as part of the IRFU’s bid to increase participation at grassroots level.
Cadbury is also giving fans the chance to win a pair of tickets to Ireland’s Six Nations game against England at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on Sunday, March 1 through the Cadbury Ireland Facebook page.
