Online sports betting and gaming operator Bwin has struck a three-year sponsorship deal with Euroleague Basketball.
The deal rekindles the partnership between Bwin and Euroleague, with the pair having successfully worked together earlier in the decade. The new arrangement will focus on the major European basketball markets of Greece, Italy and Spain.
Bwin will use its platform and pan-European reach to engage with basketball fans through activities and unique experiences. As part of the agreement, Bwin will take the EuroLeague trophy on tour throughout arenas that stage its top-tier competition in Greece and Spain.
“We are thrilled to have Bwin back among our family of partners in three of our most important strategic markets,” Roser Queralto, chief business development officer at Euroleague Basketball, said.
“Bwin is a respected name in the sports industry and among fans. This agreement helps the EuroLeague reach an even wider fan base and gives faithful EuroLeague fans new ways to enjoy games through Bwin.”
