Fast-food chain Burger King has signed a three-year extension to its official partner agreement with the Dutch top-tier Eredivisie football division.
The renewal builds on a previous three-year term between the two parties. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Burger King will continue to support the Eredivisie’s social programme through the Street Football Netherlands and Pro Street initiatives.
The US-based multinational sits alongside telecommunications company KPN and supermarket chain Plus on the second rung of the Eredivisie’s sponsorship roster.
Lead partner VriendenLoterij sealed a three-year extension with the Eredivisie in May.
