Bundesliga’s Hamburg and Ingolstadt sign up new partners

German Bundesliga football clubs Hamburg and Ingolstadt have secured new partnerships.

Hamburg has agreed a two-year deal, from 2015-16 until 2016-17, for German food retail group Rewe to become an official partner of the club.

Under the agreement, the financial details of which were not disclosed, Rewe will benefit from a range of advertising and marketing rights.

Meanwhile, Ingolstadt, which will play in the Bundesliga for the first time in 2015-16 having won promotion from the 2.Bundesliga second-tier last season, has secured a partnership with Japanese tire and rubber manufacturer Sumitomo Rubber Industries.

Under the two-year deal, which will run from 2015-16 until 2016-17, Sumitomo will become a premium partner of the club.

Sumitomo will benefit from branding placement on LED boards inside the club’s Audi-Sportpark home stadium and other surfaces such as interview backdrops and advertising boards.
