UK telecommunications company BT has agreed a multi-year partnership with the Williams Formula One motor-racing team.
Under the deal, BT will provide communication and network services for the team and will also offer technologies and consulting services to Williams’ advanced engineering division.
The length of the agreement, which still needs to be finalised, has not been disclosed.
From the season-opening F1 race in Australia on the weekend of March 13-15, BT branding will appear on the headrests of the Williams cars and will also be visible in the team’s hospitality and garage spaces.
