Japanese electronics company Brother has secured a long-term partnership with the German Handball Federation (DHB) and the Handball Bundesliga, while Korea’s LG Electronics has agreed to back the latter’s Final Four competition.
The Brother deal is for four-and-a-half years, running until the end of 2019, with the option for further extension.
Brokered by the Sportfive agency, Brother will benefit from a presence at all home internationals played by the German national team and all Bundesliga events. Branding will include on-court marks and television visible boards.
Meanwhile, LG has agreed a deal for the Bundesliga’s 2015 Final Four event, which takes place on May 9-10 in Hamburg.
LG will be provided with branding throughout the O2 World arena, while it will equip the facility with televisions throughout the media and VIP zones.
