Korean law firm Bae, Kim & Lee has reached an agreement to serve as an official supplier to the PyeongChang 2018 winter Olympic Games.
Under the agreement, BKL will provide the PyoengChang Organising Committee (POCOG) with legal assistance in the areas of contract forms, intellectual properties, legislation process, and other legal related consulting needs.
Yang-ho Cho, president of POCOG, said, “We are very happy to receive BKL’s professional support as they are undoubtedly one of the best law firms in the country and have supported POCOG since the very beginning. PyeongChang 2018 will endeavour to work together with BKL in all the various areas, and to provide them the highest marketing opportunities.”
BKL previously gave its services to the Fifa World Cup in 2002 when Korea was the co-host of the national team football tournament alongside Japan. The firm also worked on Busan’s staging of the 2002 Asian Games multi-sport event.
