Event overlay and design specialist Arena Group has been named as the official overlay and temporary structures provider for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Under the agreement, Arena Group will provide temporary seating and structures as part of work being done at venues across the Scottish city in preparation for next year’s multi-sport event.
Arena Group boasts a substantial portfolio of major sporting events, having previously worked at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games, golf’s Ryder Cup and tennis’ Wimbledon Championships.
At the London 2012 Olympic Games, it designed and delivered temporary overlay for a number of venues, including the 32 acre site comprising Horse Guards Parade, The Mall and St James Park for the beach volleyball, road cycling and marathon events.
