German Basketball Bundesliga club Ratiopharm Ulm has agreed a kit sponsorship deal with dairy products manufacturer Ehrmann.
The three-year deal covers the 2016-17 to 2018-19 seasons and names Ehrmann as a ‘superior partner’ of the team.
Under the agreement, Ehrmann’s branding will feature on the right leg of the team’s shorts. The deal also covers Ulm’s youth teams.
In addition, Ehrmann will receive LED advertising exposure at the club’s Ratiopharm Arena during home games, while its products will be available around the stadium.
Ehrmann has elected to partner the club after six years as the shirt sponsor of Bundesliga football team SC Freiburg. Ratiopharm Ulm chief executive Andreas Oettel said: “That Ehrmann has decided on a sponsorship with us proves that the basketball in Germany rises steeply.”
Ratiopharm Ulm finished the 2015-16 BBL season in seventh place and begins the new campaign with a game against Medi Bayreuth on September 25.
