German Bundesliga football club Bayern Munich has entered into a partnership with hotel group Marriott International.
The partnership will initially run until the end of the 2019-20 season. The Courtyard by Marriott brand will serve as Bayern’s exclusive hotel partner.
As part of the agreement, Marriott Rewards members will be given the chance to redeem their membership points for experiences including tickets to Bayern matches. An online sweepstake will also be organised for fans to win tickets to Bayern’s match against Borussia Dortmund on March 31.
In addition, a Courtyard by Marriott suite has been set up at Allianz Arena, Bayern’s home stadium.
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “With Marriott International being the world's largest hotel chain and FC Bayern one of the world's most successful football clubs, I am convinced that this is a perfect match and very authentic partnership. I am particularly pleased that our fans can also benefit from this partnership, with our new official hotel partner providing them with attractive offers for both home and away matches.”
