Swiss watchmaker Maurice Lacroix has agreed to become an official club sponsor of Spanish Liga football club Barcelona in a three-year deal.
Maurice Lacroix watches will be exclusively designed for Barcelona and available through both organisations’ official sales points.
Additionally, the company will benefit from wide range of inventory at Barcelona’s Nou Camp stadium, including branding space on the fourth official’s LED board and an exclusive presence in the VIP zones.
The Maurice Lacroix deal comes with Japanese watch and timing specialist Seiko’s three-year agreement with Barcelona due to conclude at the end of this season. The financial terms of the sponsorship were not disclosed.
Barcelona is currently third in La Liga following a patchy run of form in recent weeks but booked its place in the quarter-finals of the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday with a 4-1 aggregate win over Manchester City of the English Premier League.
