The Australian Open grand slam tennis tournament has agreed a sponsorship deal with skincare products manufacturer La Roche-Posay.
The deal names La Roche-Posay as the official sunscreen partner of the 2019 Australian Open, as well as all lead-up events.
As part of the agreement, free samples of La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF50+ product will be made available to fans at five satellite sunscreen stations throughout the Melbourne Park complex.
The complete Anthelios SPF 50+ sun protection range will also be made available at Australian Open retail outlets.
Additionally, products will be available at lead-up events including the Hopman Cup, Brisbane International, Sydney International, World Tennis Challenge and Hobart International.
More than 500,000 free samples of sunscreen are expected to be distributed across the tournaments.
