German Bundesliga team FC Augsburg has secured commercial partnerships with automotive engineering company Man and consumer electronics retailer TechnoMarkt.
The agreements, brokered by the Sportfive agency, cover the 2015-16 football season.
Man will modify Augsburg’s team bus for away trips to feature various passenger comfort features, including electrically adjustable leg rests. The company will enjoy perimeter advertising during home matches.
TechnoMarkt upgrades its existing association with Augsburg to official exclusive partner status and will benefit from advertising spots on stadium video screens and on the club’s official website.
Augsburg and Sportfive have been commercially active ahead of the new Bundesliga season, including signing financial services company WWK Versicherungsgruppe as the club’s new stadium naming partner under a 10-year deal running from the 2015-16 season through until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
