Health and life insurance company Vitality has extended its partnership with English Premier League football club Arsenal.
Vitality will continue to serve as Arsenal’s official health and wellness partner, now in the UK and South Africa, as part of a new deal that will run until 2020.
The new agreement also names Vitality as an official partner of the Arsenal Women team.
Vitality and its parent company, Discovery, will be granted access to the men’s and women’s first-team squads, along with club legends, for use in promotional and marketing activities.
Vitality will also continue to benefit from in-stadium branding at domestic fixtures at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, and at Meadow Park, home of Arsenal Women. Further rights include the use of Arsenal’s brand and player imagery and promotion across digital and social media platforms.
In addition, Arsenal will continue to run coaching clinics with Vitality in the UK and Discovery in South Africa.
The deal will also grant Vitality members and Arsenal fans club-related benefits such as merchandise, match tickets and hospitality experiences.
Nick Read, commercial director at Vitality, said: “We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Arsenal, and to extend it to include the women’s team as part of our key focus to support and raise awareness of women in sport. Our collaboration with some of the top teams in the country, including Arsenal, helps in our goal to change the game when it comes to people’s health.”
Vitality first partnered with Arsenal in June 2014.
