Qatar-based multinational group Al Siddiqi Holding has reached an agreement to become an official partner of the country’s staging of the Men’s Handball World Championship next year.
Under the deal, Al Siddiqi Holding will supply the event with official uniforms and Qatari attire such as thobes, abayas and shaylas for team-members and volunteers.
Al Siddiqi will benefit from in-game branding on floor stickers and courtside LED signs, while it will feature during Qatar 2015’s regional and global advertising campaigns promoting the 24-nation tournament.
In line with the state-backed Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to establish the Emirate as a premier destination for global sporting events, Qatar 2015 will give local companies and brands a platform.
Al Siddiqi Holding joins prestige partner Qatar Petroleum, Industries Qatar, QAPCO, QAFCO, Qatar Steel, QAFAC, QATOFIN, Qatar Airways and water agent Tannourine on the event’s commercial roster.
The 2015 Men’s Handball World Championship will take place in Doha from January 15 to February 1. Spain is the reigning champion.
