Monster Energy has been confirmed as the official energy drink sponsor of the Games, which is organised by ESPN, and will also become the title sponsor of the Snowmobile Freestyle event.
In addition, an official X Games account has been launched on online communications platform Skype, which has also been named the presenting partner of a highlights show that will air on ESPN2.
Finally, the Xbox gaming arm of Microsoft has teamed up with the Games to incorporate its Halo franchise into the event’s eSports competition.
