German Bundesliga football team VfB Stuttgart has signed renewed two-year sponsorship agreements with assembly products and consumables wholesaler Würth and automation specialist Fanuc through June 2016.
Both companies have upgraded their involvement with Stuttgart to exclusive partner status.
Würth gains the the naming rights to the newest business and hospitality area of Stuttgart’s Mercedes Benz Arena, which will now be known as the Würth Soccer Lounge.
Both Würth and Fanuc stand to benefit from a presence on LED boards and branding throughout the stadium, along with access to hospitality packages.
In March, Stuttgart secured a three-year extension to its major sponsorship deal with the Mercedes-Benz Bank despite being in the midst of a difficult season on the field in the Bundesliga, where it eventually avoided relegation with a 15th-place finish.
