Italian motorcycle manufacturer Fantic Motor has extended its partnership with the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) motorcycling series.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that Fantic will remain as a technical partner of WorldSBK for the second consecutive season.
Fantic will provide Dorna WSBK, the series’ commercial rights-holder, with 12 of its Fat Sport ‘e-bikes’. The Fantic bikes will feature at all eight European rounds, as well as at the US round at Laguna Seca in California.
In addition, Fantic will continue to run a booth in the ‘Fan Zone’ area at various races throughout the season.
Marc Saurina, marketing and commercial director for WorldSBK, said: “After a great season with Fantic Motor last year, we are delighted to have them on board as a technical partner once again.
“With the WorldSBK paddock such a busy and hectic environment, their support with their innovative projects enables us to have high quality, eco-friendly, and dependable transport for World Superbike representatives at each European round.”
