Swiss watchmaker Longines has renewed its long-running partnership with World Archery.
The length of the new deal was not disclosed but Longines will continue to serve as the official timing and scoring partner for Archery World Cup and World Archery Championship events.
Longines provides in-venue and on-screen timing clocks for World Archery events as part of the agreement. The company also supplies timepieces for winners of Archery World Cup stages, the final and world championship events, and presents its own Longines Prize for Precision award, which recognises the sport’s most accurate archers.
Longines vice-president and head of marketing, Juan-Carlos Capelli, said: “This sport embodies the values upheld by the brand since its inception, namely tradition, elegance and performance.”
Longines first partnered with World Archery in 2008 and serves alongside Hyundai, SporToto and Errea as a top-tier official sponsor.
