English county cricket team Warwickshire has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with tool and plant hire company Selco Builders Warehouse.
Under the two-year partnership, Selco’s branding will feature on the front of Warwickshire’s kits in the 2015 and 2016 editions of the One-Day Cup and T20 Blast limited-overs competitions.
Warwickshire competes in the T20 Blast as the Birmingham Bears and is the defending champion.
Selco becomes the county’s first official builders merchants partner and the deal also includes player appearances and support for the company’s partnership with the MacMillan Cancer Support charity.
Chris Cunliffe, chief executive of Selco, said: “Birmingham has been a key location in the formation and growth of Selco so we are delighted to be supporting one of the city’s great sporting institutions. From a commercial point of view, it gives us a fantastic opportunity to reach out to a new audience in all formats of cricket.”
