Warrior increases Premier League presence with Stoke deal

English Premier League football club Stoke City has announced a deal with Warrior to make the US sportswear brand its new official kit supplier.

The agreement takes effect from June this year and means Warrior will manufacture Stoke’s home and away playing kits and training wear. The financial terms and length of the partnership were undisclosed.

Yesterday Stoke announced its current deal with Adidas would not be renewed at the end of the 2013-14 season, ending an association that has run since the German sportswear giant replaced Le Coq Sportif in 2010.

Warrior, which also manufactures kits for Liverpool in the Premier League, will reduce the price of Stoke’s replica children’s shirts to £30 (€36/$50) alongside a price freeze on all other official club products and merchandise.

Stoke currently lies in 11th in the Premier League table with eight games of the 2013-14 season still to play.
